-The City's Governance Team and the IT department will use a formal, collaborative process to review, approve, and prioritize all major investment in information technology, systems, and applications
-The IT department will provide technology guidance to City departments and establish enterprise standards on the use of technology.
-The IT department will support the business needs of the City departments.

-Provide highly skilled and motivated information technology to professionals that share a commitment to excellence and quality customer service;
-Maintain a clear understanding of City departments' business services;
-Provide innovative solutions and process improvements using proven state-of-the-art technologies.
